although i understand where your coming from.
let's be honest here with the players we have compared to widnes saints shouldn't
be in that position to have to earn a win in the last minutes.
widnes are at the bottom and we are 4th they shouldnt be strugling against teams so low in the league.

I don't think it matters whho you are playing against, the mental strength to come from behind is the same, and becomes ingrained as we play the "better" teams. How many times did we steal a victory against what was a pretty poor Warrington team over the years?

I thought we was rubbish today. Only Perry and sia stood out.

I thought out halfbacks was terrible and we missed lomax big time. Gaskell, shenton and makinson on our right looked very weak in defence.

I wonder if a certain person on here will give makinson the same stick she gives Meli when he makes costly mistakes?

what about last week for example..26 nill up on our own ground and won the game in the last minute again.
but there was no way we should have let rovers come back to take the lead from 26 nill down.....we should be relaxing in the last 10 minutes of the games weve take a big lead in....i know we won in the end but they dont half put your heart in your mouth.

The OP is right you should never right off the Saints. An awesome result for you guys to beat Widnes by one whole & complete point.

This result has put down a marker for Super League teams like Hull KR, Salford, Wakefield & Castleford who will all have to sit up & take note.

A win is a win, it puts us third and performances can be improved, however they do say the sign of a good side is winning even when you are playing poorly.
