| Not gonna lie, I kinda thought the guys on Redvee were taking the mickey and would eventually unban everyone they banned, but starting to look like that won't be the case (unless it's just me!)... I've no idea of the history of why we all abandoned this place, if there is willing to come back or if anyone will even see this post but in my opinion, we should come back here and use this place again. After all, we shouldn't be pinning all of the Saints fans' discourse onto the whims of literally one man that seems to be a massive baby!
Thought I'd kick off by posting the 21 man squad for tomorrow's game with Catalan. Maybe a certain coloured giraffe could come and take back the reigns for next week!
1. Jack Welsby, 4. Mark Percival, 5. Jon Bennison, 6. Tristan Sailor, 7. Jonny Lomax, 8. Alex Walmsley, 9. Daryl Clark, 10. Matty Lees, 11. Curtis Sironen, 13. Morgan Knowles, 14. Moses Mbye, 16. Matt Whitley, 17. Agnatius Paasi, 18. Jake Wingfield, 19. George Delaney, 20. Lewis Murphy, 21. Noah Stephens, 23. Jake Burns, 27. George Whitby, 30. Owen Dagnall, 36. Deon Cross.
OUT: Dayon Sambou IN: Jake Burns
Assuming Wellens continues on his usual trajectory, I'll take a stab at the following:
Sailor Bennison Cross Percival Murphy Welsby Whitby Walmsley Mbye Lees Sironen Whitley Knowles
Paasi Delaney Clark Lomax
There may have been signs that he's giving up on the Sailor FB/Welsby half experiment with his changes to the Leeds game, so could be interesting to see where he goes! Personally would try 1. Welsby 6. Sailor 7. Whitby for a few games but think he'd put Lomax at 6 before Sailor. Would also be dropping Paasi for Stephens, dropping Mbye for Wingfield and starting Clark. Wouldn't even mind seeing Benno dropped for Dagnall, with Cross moving to the wing

Just keep-on posting on here. There will be other Saints fans that feel the same way as yourself. It will only take a few Saints fans to revive this section of RL Fans forum.

| Ha yes I was banned too (different username to this). Never said anything remotely controversial since joining in 24 then he throws his toys out the pram and bans half the forum. I noticed the resident wind-up merchant RG never got banned which just about sums them up over there.
Can't remember when I last posted on here but if more Saints fans want to join/come back I would start posting again.

Yeah I don't think I really said anything controversial either, though I guess it could technically be considered as such if you're a fan of fascism as I had the gall to question what the hell the admin was thinking when he said he closed the forum down to make a point. Other than that, I never insulted him nor anybody else and was always friendly with everyone there. Really weird situation. I noticed earlier that they're not accepting new registrations atm either so hopefully people will start finding their way back to this place.

| On the game, it's been a great start! Look like we've come out with some real conviction and intensity. Great footwork from Sailor to set up the first try

We've actually played alright. Still too many errors but we are trying some shape. Catalan are absolutely awful though

| Aye caught the score at HT. Still as you say Cats are very poor and busted. I'm still firmly in the 'we need an Aussie coach asap' category however.

| Can't complain too much about that performance. Did a good job, spine seemed to work. Plz never move Welsby from FB again

it was a strange game to watch as a neutral i dont think Saints were spectacular, but far too good for a poor catalan side last night. You scored some well worked tries, and no doubt with Welsby and Whitby have some quality there. I appreciate Whitby is only a young lad, but certainly seems to have the potential/ temperament to make it For me, it was difficult to see if you have progressed or not, but you can only beat what is in front of you. I'll bet you've never had some much free ball from turnovers at the POTB with so many in the 1st half. The young French full back seems like he has some potential, but gifted you the ball a couple of times through incorrect POTB

I’m not sure what he’s going to do when Feldt is back but the spine worked a lot better last night too. I think all the Welsby is a stand off shouts have been put to bed, he’s so much better from fullback and hopefully they won’t try to move him again. I’d probably try a Whitby/Sailor half pairing myself when Feldt is back but I thought Lomax did ok last night and they’ll have had a few games together by then so he might not want to split them up. Will be very interesting to see what happens to Sailor at that point. I fear he might take Whitby back out of the side for the back end of the season

| Sailor did OK on the wing compared to his previous games at fullback and standoff.
Seems harsh to drop Bennison he is a Steady Eddie and works hard without making many mistakes.
Catalans looked like they were a team playing to get rid of McNamara and I wouldn`t be surprised if he leaves Catalan before Wellens leaves Saints
