Yes that sounds right. If we got in we’d have the money and be (bottom quarter of table) competitive. The trouble is it’s the cart before the horse and a gamble for the authorities. The Salford situation has made them look like mugs so if there are sides with the money in the bank I think they have to go for them. I’m not massively keen on another French side in the top league but Toulouse seem a solid bet. York’s sudden riches has blindsided me but they do seem to have the backing. Oldham getting into SL seems a bit strong to me but if they have the money there are merits in trying to revive League’s fortunes in that area. Bradford would be a solid choice but the financial situation over the years makes me think they may be seen as too risky. I don’t see Doncaster as viable. So if I had to guess: York and TO. If Salford fold, then we may be in with a shout.
End of the playing season turned into a bit of a damp squib hasn't it? Which I suppose is good as we were sure we were actually going to make it to the end of the playing season.
Madness that we're again talking about an admin process for which division we will be in, again with no planning.
It's a high speed, quickly organised, self inflicted train wreck isn't it? Why have the clubs decided to do this as such speed.
We really need a stronger rfl that can take some of the power away from the clubs, given the amount of idiot decisions they have made over the last few years.
There's a bit of me (a lot of me) that thinks the reason Wood is back if that he's kryptonite to the NRL and would put them off enough to keep the club owners in charge.
