He was playing & scored in the first Rovers match I saw as a 10 year old in 1961. He was the player I wanted to be when I grew up. A great player & would always be selected in my Rovers greatest team.

Deepest sympathy to Terry's family. I remember Terry as a strong centre in his early days often partnering Graham Paul. Of course he progressed to a loose forward who represented Yorkshire and Great Britain Under 24's. He formed a very strong back three with Bill Holliday and Frank Foster and we will always remember his try at Workington Town in the cup in 1966. Many people said he knocked on but Terry would always swear he didn't and the try stood and Rovers won. Many happy memories of the Wembley trips with Ray and the lads.
