Having 6 players in the England squad is a serious achievement by the Giants.

Sadly some non entity wakey fans having nothing better to do than rubbish griffin and big Eorl.

I know they have had a poor season, been unable to retain players, recruited some dross for 2011 (literally just for that year) , had several financial 'glitches' (I do hope all their players get their money through today) and their SL status hangs by a thread. But why oh why slag off 2 players who are miles ahead of anything they have got.

If you look at the 24 players in the team, three of them (Daryl Griffin, Gareth Ellis and Ryan Atkins) have come from their team. They should celebrate this.

Maybe they are realising they have a coach that simply cannot get the best out of his players.

Code 13 you are full of it. More like Kear took these players and saw potential and took them to another level. Other teams saw this at later stage then moved in on them. I can't really fault these teams as our financial situation will always put us in this situation, But you are taking too much credit for something that Kear has done time and time again.

Kear is a nice guy. Coaching wise he is a one trick pony and everyone knows the trick! He appoints an inept conditioner - ever wondered why you start well and quickly run out of steam?

He has taken players to another level...a lower one. It is a myth that he has molded many wakey players into greats...complete nonsense.

However Kear puts in 100% effort. This thread is about numpties at wakey who years after griffin left are stil all twisted out of shape. At the wakey vs Giants game this season when wakey were humiliated there were still intellectually challenged Wakey fans shouting 'teapot'.

Kear would love to have Griff and Eorl in his pack and the 4 other Giants selected to tour.

The latter cannot be said for many coaches (twice in their career -to date) and its two more than weve had in 57 years --so credit where its due IMO

He has built his entire career on that Sheffield win in the CC, and that Hull team was McCrea's who won the final because Tony Smith had a brain fart and picked a crippled Senior on the wing instead of a fit player.
